News Over Wireless is launching My Local TV, a new mobile video channel that provides local television news from across the United States.
With My Local TV, viewers can watch the latest news, sports, weather and information in full-motion video while on the go. My local TV offers video content from local television stations across the country. The service is available on channel 58 in the media player and can be found in the News & Weather category on select Sprint phones.
To view a preview video or subscribe, viewers go to My Local TV from their Sprint phone, navigate to the channel listing of the media player and select “News & Weather,” followed by choosing My Local TV. The service costs $4.95 monthly for unlimited access to the channel.
News Over Wireless is part of CBC New Media Group, a division of Capitol Broadcasting Company. The subsidiary was created to allow local television stations to offer their news resources on mobile phones. News Over Wireless grew from a WRAL-TV in Raleigh-Durham, NC.
