Zoran Corp. is providing its SupraHD 660 integrated DTV processor and Cascade 2 high performance demodulator for use in Sanyo Electric's newest HDTV sets for the U.S., including the model HT30746 30-inch HDTV CRT TV with FCC-mandated ATSC tuner.
The company said the Cascade 2 demodulator has an equalizer range of over 110 microseconds, providing excellent indoor reception even with severe "multiphase" conditions. The demodulator also handles QAM demodulation for cable signals.
