The 12th Annual Mobile Entertainment Summit is set to take place in Los Angeles this month, from May 23-24. This year's event will explore the growing mobile TV space, among other topics, including mobile video business models and convergence technologies such as WiFi and WiMAX.
Among the panel discussions this year are "Mobile TV and Video," "Mobile Video Business Models," "Mobile Advertising and Marketing" and "International Mobile Content Deals." Executives from AT&T Mobility, Deutsche Telekom, Discovery, Ericsson, Konami, Sony, Univision Communications and other media companies will be on hand as speakers and panelists. John Smelzer, senior VP and general manager of FOX Interactive Media, is set to give the keynote address.
New this year is the AT&T Cingular Developer Workshop, a one-hour interactive workshop offering marketing strategies, product roadmaps, SDKs and technical information to help developers test, build, launch and market their applications and services. There is an additional fee for this workshop.
