The New York Times Group has installed a Mercury IP communications system from Trilogy Broadcast, a provider of intercom/talkback, signal monitoring and SPG gear.
In August 2002, Norfolk, Va.-based WTKR purchased the system, which is initially providing four wire audio links over its private IP network between WTKR and the news bureau in Virginia Beach.
