Pixelmetrix DVStation has been selected and deployed by Telstra Australia to provide distributed multipoint, real-time signal and content-integrity monitoring for its DVB-C network delivering Foxtel’s Digital Cable Television.
The system uses the 21-port Pixelmetrix DVStation deployed at five major broadcast centers within Australia to ensure that signal quality and program content are within Telstra’s strict operational requirements.
Telemetry, alarms and performance data is fed in real time over a robust, internal network to two full-service management centers, located in Sydney and Melbourne.
