Ross Video is now shipping SoftMetal version 4.0 software. New features include native support for record and playback of HD and SD clips and SD QuickTime playout. Version 4 also adds closed-captioning support and embedded audio, 16 channels per video input and output, and stereoscopic (3-D) record and playback.
