Liberty Corp. has purchased the Pathfire Digital Media Gateway (DMG) Server Connect for Programming, DMG Automation Connect and redundancy and DMG servers for 12 of its broadcast stations. The purchase will allow for the hands-free movement of Pathfire-delivered syndication content and redundancy of content throughout the stations.

The Pathfire server enables the transfer of digital content from DMG servers directly to the station's play-to-air server, retaining the asset in a digital format.

Crispin--Liberty's automation vendor--developed and is testing the interface to DMG through the Pathfire Automation Connect system.

Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, Sony Pictures Television, Paramount, Kingworld and Viacom Video Services are among the companies using the DMG content distribution platform.
