Odetics sells broadcast division

Odetics’ has sold its broadcast division to The Digital Transaction Group.
The company has acquired certain assets of the former Odetics Broadcast operation, including its AIRO automation system. The Digital Transaction Group will continue providing sales and support for the AIRO product.
The founders of Digital Transaction Group include the development team responsible for the creation and ongoing support of the AIRO product. The AIRO automation system offers broadcasters a software system designed to manage video content and the on-air programming schedules for television operations by integrating the control of broadcast video devices with sophisticated software automation.
The new company plans to focus on customer satisfaction and quality solutions, leveraging an experienced and proven team committed to increasing the product’s value to customers. It will be located in Austin, Tex.
