Nokia, Streamezzo roll out MyNseries for Nseries phones

Nokia has tapped Streamezzo for the rollout of a new multimedia platform for its Nseries mobile phones. The handset provider used Streamezzo’s rich media software suite to create the MyNseries platform, which delivers advanced multimedia and Web 2.0 functionalities for mobile environments.

Streamezzo, a provider of embedded rich media solutions, led the design, development, delivery management, hosting and deployment of the MyNseries application, now available to Nseries users in France. Among the features enabled by the application are the MyNseries TV and Vpod TV mobile video services, user-generated videos, Internet browsing and access to customizable RSS feeds.

Streamezzo’s software suite is based on a rich media engine dedicated primarily to LASeR scene rendering, as well as several business engines that interface with a handset’s features. It supports most mobile operating systems, including Nukleus, BREW, Windows Mobile 2005, Symbian and Mobile Java platforms and Rex.
