IP video software provider Myrio has recently won two contracts for its Myrio Video Partner (MVP) program.
Valley Telephone of South Dakota, and the Utilities Commission of New Smyrna Beach in Florida have signed up for the MVP Alliance program. The companies will be able to deploy pay-per-view, VOD and digital television to their customers. The companies are using Calix and SkyStream technologies that have been integrated into the Myrio platform.
Telecommunications provider Valley Telephone is deploying the Myrio IP video platform on the South Dakota Networks (SDN), fiber optic network using the Calix X7 technologies.
In its high-speed fiber optic network in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., the utility commission will deploy the SkyStream Mediaplex-20 product bundled with the Myrio IP video platform, initially offering services to 2,000 customers.
