KNME-TV adopts SGL FlashNet for New Mexico public TV digital conversion project

KNME-TV, the public broadcaster in Albuquerque, NM, is using Software Generation (SGL) FlashNet content archive and storage management software on the New Mexico Public Television Digital Conversion Project, the company announced last week.

Based at the University of New Mexico, KNME-TV is the oldest of a trio of PBS stations in the region using SGL FlashNet for its digital archive. The other stations are KENW at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales and KRWG at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.

The KNME-TV project required SGL FlashNet to be integrated with Sundance Digital's automation system. The SGL FlashNet installation was carried out by CUC Systems in Corona, CA.
