KDDI R&D Laboratories, a subsidiary of the Japanese service provider offering mobile and fixed communications services KDDI, has concluded lab trial testing on Novera's λ-PON (Lambda-PON) DWDM technology for use in transport services.
After three months of laboratory testing, the R&D group has recorded positive results for Novera's DWDM technology for providing future services. KDDI R&D Laboratories will also begin a study of new products for broadband services with WDM-PON technologies.
