The Intelsat IS-907 provides enhanced C-band coverage for the Americas, Africa and Europe and high-power Ku-band spot beam coverage for Europe and Africa. It features a selectable split uplink with independent gain control in Channel 12 of global beam.
It can steer Ku-Band beams based on user demand. It has flexible transponder activation in Ku-Band for 14 out of 16 channels. The Ku-Band transponders are equipped with ALC for e.i.r.p. control.
