Henninger and CRW To Partner For Health Documentaries

Henninger Productions has formed a partnership with CRW Medical Productions to jointly produce and distribute health-related documentaries for television. The companies previously worked together on a documentary for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on anthrax at the height of the bio-terrorism attacks two years ago.

The partnership is part of Henninger Media Services' (HMS) ongoing resurgence effort after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last summer. At the time, the company cited several reasons for its decline, including the poor economy, the widespread adoption of non-linear editing systems and the Discovery Channel's construction of its Tech Center, complete with editing suites, which made Henninger's services unnecessary. Rob Henninger, founder and CEO of HMS, says the company emerged from bankruptcy by implementing eliminating duplicate facilities and expanding into business and corporate communications and government contracting.
