By TVTechnology published
Scientific-Atlanta recently commissioned a survey of 500 HDTV set owners and got some surprising results.
About half of the HD set owners had no way to receive any HD programming, while 28 percent thought the pictures on their new set were better even without HD programming.
Twenty-three percent thought they were getting HD just because the message before an HD shows said it was in HD, while 18 percent thought they didn’t need anything besides the HDTV display to get HDTV.
