Jacksonville, Fla.-based WJCT and Tallahassee, Fla.-based WFSU recently installed Leitch Technology Corp.'s AgileVision MPEG processing systems.
Leitch touts AgileVision's simplicity, cost-effectiveness and quick "time to air" capabilities. Features include HD and SD splicing, logo overlays and rate control, all in the compressed domain. It also provides integrated MPEG-2 real-time encoders and storage as well as PSIP generation, datacasting services multiplexing and automation/control features.
