The FCC has released the agenda for the Feb. 28 workshop that will cover issues related to consumer education regarding the DTV transition.
The meeting will focus on consumers with disabilities to ensure they receive timely, accurate information about the switchover and examine how to create a coordinated effort to further the public’s knowledge regarding the transition. The meeting will include demonstrations of DTV converter boxes.
The agenda includes:
- How to reach and provide support to people with disabilities on the DTV transition (Parts I and II), moderated by Catherine Seidel, Chief, FCC Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau; and
- Demonstrations of DTV converter boxes.
