ESPN brings original football programs to ESPN Mobile TV
By TVTechnology published
ESPN earlier this month launched “Fantasy Football Now” and “Countdown Daily Presented by IBM,” two original football programs for its ESPN.com and ESPN Mobile TV platforms. Mobile fans can catch the programs through Verizon Wireless’ V CAST service.
“Countdown Daily Presented by IBM” features current news and information about the league, players and the week’s match-ups. Other highlights include video from the “Best of the ESPN.com Blogs,” update reports on injuries, standings and results and excerpts from NFL coaches’ news conferences.
“Fantasy Football Now” provides final-hour insights for fantasy football players around the world, including advice, tips, insights, news and analysis right up to kickoff. Hosted by ESPN’s Eric Kusileas, it will take player questions via e-mail, text message and call-in.
