Dolby Labs' revenue is up 28 percent in the recent quarter compared to a year ago.
The company said it had total revenue of $119.6 million. Net income was $29.7 million. Company CEO Bill Jasper said Dolby is seeking to diversify across newer markets.
The company expects its revenue for the year to be $465 million to $475 million.
