Dielectric Communications has appointed long-time employee Jay S. Martin to be its new vice president, TV Product Management. In his new role Martin will focus on engineering and new product development, both domestically and overseas.
Greg Langston, president of Dielectric, said Martin would be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for the Raymond, Maine-based company’s TV, transmission line and RF systems product lines.
Martin began his career in the broadcast industry more than 20 years ago at WLBZ-TV in Bangor, Maine. He came to Dielectric in 1985 and has held several positions within the company, including Television Antenna product manager and senior director of marketing.
Martin is an active member of International Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), The Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) and The Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers (AFCCE).
