Clear-Com to showcase broadcast and live performance intercommunications at IBC
Clear-Com will demonstrate a variety of new intercom solutions at the upcoming IBC2006 conference in Amsterdam next month. This includes the company's FreeSpeak digital wireless intercom system, SoftVoICE 1.0 intercom software and Eclipse digital matrix products.
FreeSpeak is a scalable digital wireless intercom system able to operate in complex locations where line-of-sight communications are not practical. SoftVoICE 1.0 is advanced intercom software used through a standard PC running Windows XP. SoftVoICE, working in concert with Clear-Com's VoICE interface frame, is used to connect remote users over low cost LANs, WANs and other Internet protocols.
The Eclipse and 4000 Fiber Networking is designed as an E-FIB Fiber interface used to connect two Eclipse frames or two 4000 frames over a high-bandwidth, non-blocking, redundant fiber link. The new version 4.0 ECS configuration and matrix software provides the ability to add Eclipse frames to existing 4000 trunked networks.
The PiCo, Median and Omega models represent an advanced digital matrix platform for small, medium and large matrix needs, which can be operated successfully anywhere from confined mobile production trucks to large studios or outdoor arenas.
At the show, Clear-Com will also offer details of its new extended warranties and service contracts. Additional support includes global coverage 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with a multi-lingual troubleshooting helpline and priority on-site visits for training and repairs.
