CEA president appointed to spectrum management advisory committee
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has announced that CEA president and CEO Gary Shapiro has been appointed to the U.S. Department of Commerce's Spectrum Management Advisory Committee.
The Spectrum Management Advisory Committee, created by President Bush, will provide recommendations on issues regarding spectrum management, reform and policy. The committee members represent a cross-section of stakeholders and will act as liaisons to the federal government.
