Calrec has added a new product to its digital console family. The Zeta 100 provides instant access to features such as hot-swappable cards and panels and intelligent redundancy on ally system critical elements. Operation is independent of the on-board PC. PC failure or reset has no effect on the audio signal.

The Zeta 100 includes full intelligent and automatic redundancy on all power supplies, DSP and control processors. Its audio and control system boots from cold in less than 20 seconds. The full control system resets in less than 10 seconds with no loss of audio. All panels and cards can be inserted and removed under power with no damage All cards and panels are hot pluggable.

It has DSP allocation for up to 56 channels (32 stereo, 24 mono) 8 Auxes (pre or post fader), 16 Multitrack/IFB outputs and includes Mix-minus output on every channel.

Other features include 2 Main outputs (stereo/5.1 Surround) with compressor, 8 sub-Groups (stereo/mono) with compressor, 2 "wild" controls per channel, 99 Flash ROM memories, Interrogation facility on every buss and Inputs can patch directly to outputs.
