Broadcast regulatory and legislative conference provides engineers with legal advice

At NAB2007, broadcasting’s regulators will discuss the latest rules of the game. This year, with the transition in play, there’s a lot to know.

On Monday, April 16, the Washington Policy and Politics Breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., legal experts will offer advice in a panel titled “Stay out of trouble with the FCC: What recent enforcement actions mean to you.”

Simultaneously, there’s a session called “Digital television: The countdown continues,” which focuses specifically on regulatory decisions involving the transition.

On Tuesday, April 17 at 7:30 a.m., members of the FCC will share their views at the FCC breakfast. Following the breakfast, at 10:30 a.m., is a session called “Legal information for small market and independent stations.” On Wednesday, at 9 a.m. there is a session titled “Tower siting in a newly regulated world.”
