Let's face it, we live in a world of superlatives. We have a couple of the "biggest" HDTV sets for your consideration. Samsung lays claim to the world's largest consumer HDTV, which has an 80-inch plasma screen, with 1920 x 1080 resolution. Samsung also lays claim to the world's largest consumer HD LCD screen, at 57 inches, also with 1920 x 1080 resolution. In case your calculator is not readily available, 80 inches is almost 7 feet, and 57 inches is nearly 5 feet. Those who attended the Consumer Electronics Show saw a 102-inch flat panel display, but that was a concept demo, not a product.
Cable Industry, Samsung Partner to Promote HDTV
The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) is partnering with Samsung to extol the benefits of HDTV and promote new HD services to consumers. Samsung, which claims to have produced the first integrated HD television in 1998, will run commercials during the NCAA basketball tournament that explains t
