Andrew Corp. claims that at 800 millimeters (2.6 feet) in diameter, its new ValuLine III Next Generation terrestrial microwave antenna is more than 15 percent smaller than any other FCC Part 101, Category A compliant 11 GHz microwave antenna.
Mike Guerin, vice president of Antenna and Cable Products at Andrew Corp., said, "This is a breakthrough for customers who are looking for a smaller, more lightweight, and rugged antenna for point-to-point communications. The small footprint of ValuLine III provides more options for our customers, especially in municipal areas."
