European teleproduction facility provider WIGE Television equipped its new HD1 OB truck with Fischer 1053TM HDTV connectors.
Commissioned in January 2006, HD1 is the fully digital flagship vehicle in the company’s OB fleet. HD1 can accommodate up to 24 cameras and is one of the largest HD OB vans in the world. In its 178sq ft of space, HD 1 packs 25 work areas fully capable of supporting both SD and HD production.
The company turned to the Fischer 1053 series connector for HD1 because it combines HD fiber optic capability with the robustness of copper technology.
