Scoreboard modernizes old-time college baseball stadium


Fans attending the NCAA College Baseball World Series will get a richer experience with HD images delivered on Rosenblatt Stadium’s new scoreboard from Daktronics.

Daktronics will design and manufacture an integrated scoreboard and video system for Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, NE, the long-time home of the College World Series.

The new video screen will be installed behind the left field seats where the existing scoreboard now stands. With more than 830,000 individual red, green and blue LEDs and an active area 27ft 7in high x 56ft 6in wide, the screen model will provide fans with larger-than-life, high-resolution video images.

NCAA college baseball is a fixture in Omaha, as the city has hosted the NCAA College World Series for the last 56 years.
