An evangelical Christian ministry is upgrading its international TV programming with modern switchers.
ManáSat — part of the Igrejamana Church in Lisbon, Portugal — has purchased a new switcher to integrate with the company’s Orad virtual set system. ManáSat offers viewers alternative programming of Christian inspiration and airs in three continents through satellite. The station also has local TV stations in Brazil and Africa.
ManáSat has invested in a Ross Video Synergy 2 SD digital production switcher and plans to use it for multi-camera TV programs, with and without virtual sets. The Synergy 2 SD is a 2 MLE production switcher that performs well in a variety of broadcast environments, from network and local news broadcasts to stadiums, mobile trucks and IMAG applications. The Synergy 2 SD can be upgraded to a Synergy 3 SD or 4 SD or to a multi-definition system, as production needs change.
