NorgesGruppen is rolling out a digital signage network to more than 2000 grocery stores during the next three years in Norway. It will deploy the trading group’s first in-store digital signage network in its MIX chain. MIX, with 950 stores and kiosks, will implement two channels in 100 MIX stores and one channel in the remaining stores.

NorgesGruppen’s network platform is Scala’s InfoChannel software. Real-time rendering will enable content to be dynamically tailored to the local requirements of each store. The network will combine brand advertising with in-store customer information. In addition, to ensure a focused message is delivered to its local customers, each store will create and manage some local content over its in-store infrastructure.
