Asian-American TV network uses Globecomm satellite distribution
By TVTechnology published
ImaginAsian TV (iaTV), a 24/7 Asian-American television network based in the United States, selected Globecomm to provide complete satellite distribution and hosting services.
iaTV programming will be sent via Globecomm's teleport to Intelsat's satellite, which reaches 95 percent of U.S. households. ImaginAsian TV caters to American audiences with “a passion for all things Asian,” bringing dramas, anime, variety shows and movies from Asia to the United States. Additionally, iaTV has developed and produced critically acclaimed original programs. From its transmission broadcast center in eastern Long Island, NY, Globecomm will provide master control services and provide playout of the diverse multi-language cable offerings.
Globecomm integrates satellite into network applications in order to provide a reliable, connection to the edge of the network, broadcast one-to-many and support high-bandwidth applications.
