MATCO has released the MA-1600 video server, which can support up to four inputs or outputs.
The MA-1600 can offer up to 1080 hours of RAID 6 storage at 12Mb/s and comes standard with internal automation software, remote workstation software, redundant power and cooling and is bundled with Canopus Procoder 3.0 transcoding software.
Canopus Procoder 3.0 allows users to convert video files automatically to other formats. The MA-1600 can record and play out several channels while converting video files as a result of its dual quad-core processing.
Among the server’s features and options are mirrored system drives and HD inputs and outputs.
