Neutrik, a company known for its line of connectors for the professional audio industry, has announced a new item in the company's catalog of connector products—the 32 Amp PowerCon.
The new AC power supply connector is designed for use in connection with professional lighting equipment and installations and has a locking mechanism to ensure a safe power connection.
"Our new 32 Amp PowerCon is an extremely robust and reliable system for the demanding power transfer and load needed for high power distribution systems," said Jim Cowan, president of Neutrik USA. "It's fast and easy locking system and excellent cable retention make it the must use product for these types of applications."
The 32 Amp PowerCon has contacts for line, neutral and a pre-mating ground contact. There's a chassis receptacle, as well as an in-line cable connector. It fulfills all current t Underwriters Laboratories standards and is UL-recognized.
