The U.S. Supreme Court has granted certiorari in the MGM vs. Grokster case.
The court will hear oral arguments in March 2005. StreamCast Networks, makers of the Morpheus peer-to-peer (P2P) software application is also included as a defendant in the case. Both software applications have been at the heart of the online music download controversy.
