Mobile Complete has introduced DeviceAnywhere Pro, which features fully automated mobile testing and scripting.
Offered in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, DeviceAnywhere Pro offers developers access to physical handsets on live global networks using the Internet. Users can create such test automation scripts as a drag-and-drop interface, a record-and-playback mechanism — where all user interactions with a phone are recorded into a script — and a Java API, which enables advanced scripting as well as integration with other test management frameworks. The software also features a resource manager, which allows users to test one script across multiple devices. A scheduling feature allows users to schedule tests to take place at any time during the day or night.
