PanAmSat has requested Special Temporary Authority (STA), for up to 180 days starting as soon as possible, to relocate SBS-4 from 77 degrees W Longitude to 125 degrees W Longitude and operate the tracking, telemetry and command payload on SBS-4 during the relocation and at 125 degrees W Longitude. The application said PanAmSat would not operate the communications payload on SBS-4 during the move or at 125 degrees without separately requesting and obtaining authority to do so.
