Food Network adds SSL digital audio console to digital facility mix

The Food Network’s SSL C100 is configured with 32 faders on the console surface.

The Food Network recently completed a new corporate and production facility in New York City that includes a full menu of digital audio and video production equipment. Solid State Logic's C100 digital broadcast console is the main audio ingredient for the facility. The C100 streamlines the network's production workflow and reduces change over time between different projects in the studio.

The Food Network’s C100 is configured with 32 faders on the console surface, providing enough input “real estate” to hold everything that is happening on a show like “Emeril Live.” The facility also uses a Grass Valley Kalypso 4 M/E production switcher with a 2000 frame clip store.
