ERI to Promote Tower Safety

ERI has begun a comprehensive campaign to make tower owners aware of regulatory ERI changes, safety concerns and maintenance issues as part of an ongoing effort to promote tower safety. OSHA may soon require that tower safety-climb devices be installed, or other positive climber attachments be utilized.

Additionally, warning signs must be installed if the tower does not have ladders and platforms in accordance with OSHA standards. ERI offers these and other safety signs, as well as a Professional Service Team, but notes that tower inspection and maintenance is the responsibility of the tower owner.
