SWE-DISH adds Autopoint capability to IPT Suitcase
By TVTechnology published
The SWE-DISH IPT Suitcase now includes Autopoint with integrated software for fast, safe and secure automatic pointing at a desired satellite.
The SWE-DISH IPT Suitcase is now available with Autopoint functionality.
Autopoint includes integrated software for fast, safe and secure automatic pointing at a desired satellite. Autopoint significantly simplifies operations and ensures precise antenna pointing with one-button-operation. It does not require additional satellite bandwidth to operate nor does it need a reference satellite.
The navigation solution, which includes GPS, compass and electric tilt sensors, relieves users from preparations prior to acquiring the satellite. The electric tilt sensors and the developed software automatically compensate the beam pointing and polarization skew if the terminal is placed on an uneven surface. Typical antenna pointing, including fine-tuning, takes about one minute and can be performed by any staff.
