December 3, 2004
The NFL Network has hired Ascent Media Network Services (AMNS) to upgrade its facilities.

In August, NFL Network installed a master control suite that supports mirrored SD and HD program feeds, which are transmitted to cable and satellite affiliates. Last November the network launched its cable and satellite operations with the help of AMNS operations and engineering staff.

Ascent Media has supported the NFL for more than 10 years, starting with the launch of NFL Sunday Ticket, according to Peter Brickman, senior director, broadcast operations and technology, NFL Enterprises.
