RFS offers DTV remote monitoring system

The new RF system monitor accurately measures either peak or true root mean square (RMS) power of complex waveforms.

Radio Frequency Systems has developed a new DTV RF system monitor. The new system can provide remote access to 16 transmitters and incorporates 50 configurable inputs. It also can handle an antenna system with four main feeders.

The new RF system monitor is used primarily for monitoring forward/reflected transmitter power and for mimic display of U-Link/motorized switch configurations. It also has the ability to analyze and store a wide range of collected data for up to three years.

The new RF system monitor accurately measures either peak or true root mean square (RMS) power of complex waveforms. It has the ability to compensate for the effects of temperature variations and independently evaluate nonlinear multichannel systems.
