The International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers (IABM) marks its 30th anniversary in 2006. There will be a celebratory awards ceremony for exhibitors and guests on September 9 at IBC to present the winners of the IABM Peter Wayne Award for Design & Innovation, the IABM Tom McGann Bursary, and to welcome the Student Bursary Winners for 2006.
New initiatives from IABM at IBC include market research and a training and educational DVD, entitled “Broadcast Equipment: What It Is And What It Does - An IABM Guide.”
