Euphonix expands in Eastern Europe

Euphonix has announced several new broadcast installations in Eastern Europe. Slovenia’s state-owned RTV radio and TV broadcasting company has installed its second System 5-BP digital console, a 48-channel system with dual DSP cores for its Radio Center in Ljubljana. The console will be used for music recording, mixing and live broadcasts. RTV has also upgraded the processing power of its existing System 5-BP console.

In Slovakia, state broadcaster STV has added a second Max Air digital desk. The 96-channel system is equipped with 40 faders and will be used for on-air news and studio broadcasts. STV has also installed two System 5-MC control surface systems for use with Steinberg’s Nuendo software.

Poland’s public broadcast system TVP has also added a Max Air console at its local broadcast facility in the city of Bydgoszcz. The 96-channel system is the facility’s first digital system, and is combined with the Euphonix MADI routing system to facilitate sharing of audio data between multiple rooms.
