Tallahassee Public Broadcaster Automates with MicroFirst

WFSU-TV, a Tallahassee-Fla.-based PBS affiliate has selected MicroFirst's new Digital Automation System (DAS) for station automation control.

DAS will be used for the command and control of WFSU's new SeaChange Broadcast Media Cluster server with seven channels in and seven channels out and Broadcast Media Library via Microfirst's new Near Line Storate (NLS) component of DAS.

DAS is Microfirst's fully expandable and extensible real-time automation and management system, designed to provide metadata management and device control, media management, logging functionality, traffic system integration, graphical device control, distributed or centralized IP control, comprehensive monitoring and maintenance of wide area networked television systems, as well as interfaces to near line storage and archive management systems.
