With the help of SeaChange the first HD service in China, is now on air. Broadcaster CCTV is showing sports, movies and other HD programming with the SeaChange broadcast digital video systems.
The broadcaster deployed SeaChange systems last year to launch its 24-channel SD TV service and plans to produce and originate Olympics coverage for China and the rest of the sports world.
Additionally, SeaChange was awarded for excellence in video storage from the Beijing International Radio, TV and Film Equipment Exhibition. Broadcast MediaLibrary was named an "Outstanding Product" in the prestigious Product, Technology and Application Project Awards.
