Rocky Mountain News reported that a 13-hour public hearing with the Jefferson County Commissioners Tuesday on a proposed TV tower for Lookout Mountain failed to produce a decision on the fate of the tower. Good, 780 minutes of hearings on 730-foot TV tower, said hundreds signed a list opposing the tower, which would consolidate antennas from three existing towers and provide space for new DTV antennas for Denver's three major network affiliates. One group rolled out 730 feet of yellow tape at the Jefferson County government center "to dramatize the tower's size."
