Microtune is very confident of the ability of its new tuners with "ClearTune" technology to reject interference from nearby transmitters. So much so, that it was encouraging attendees at the 3GSM conference in Barcelona, Spain this week to use their GSM mobile phones to try to interfere with DVB-H reception on a ClearTune-based mobile TV phone. Microtune asked attendees to try the test on competitors' tuners as well.
Microtune said their ClearTune technology tuners suppress interference and allow clear, stable pictures "even across overpopulated, hostile airwaves."
