KEDT Chooses Clarity CG
By TVTechnology published
The Corpus Christi, Texas PBS station, KEDT, has upgraded its graphics capabilities with the purchase of a Pixel Power Clarity 2 Channel SD graphics system.
KEDT is working with Texas A&M's Corpus Christi branch to create a new digital production facility, where the Clarity will be installed. The new facility will broadcast in HD and SD, and the station will eventually transition to production and transmission capabilities in HD. The expandable Clarity can simulcast in both standards from one system.
KEDT plans to get the most out of the system during the station's annual televised auction and while developing high-impact teaching materials employing graphics and animation integrated with video clips for the university.
