The FCC has set August 9, 2006 as the deadline for filing applications for new digital noncommercial television stations on channel 46 in Kalispell, channel 21 in Great Falls, and channel 16 in Billings, all in Montana.
Applications must be filed electronically on FCC Form 340 and must be substantially complete. According to the commission's Public Notice (DA 06-1390), "Mutually exclusive applications will be resolved by the Commission's procedures for selecting among mutually exclusive noncommercial educational applicants."
