CEA Announces HDTV Summit Program

The tenth annual HDTV Summit sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association will be held on March 15, at the Washington, D.C., Convention Center. The theme of the summit will be, "The Analog Cut-Off: What will it take? What are the opportunities?"

The summit will include several panel discussions among experts, one of which addresses the latest DTV policy issues, legislation, and regulatory proceedings. The second will be a sales forecast session. The summit luncheon will feature the fifth annual Academy of Digital Television Pioneers Awards, in which pioneers in 10 DTV award categories will be recognized. The summit program will close with a panel discussion entitled "Beyond HD Technology," at which will be discussed possible uses of the returned analog television spectrum.
